Happy Fall Equinox! I have a special self-guided ritual offering for YOU

Happy Fall Equinox!

I am writing to you this morning of the Fall Equinox, looking out through my office window with the sun sparkling low in the tree. I see neighbors taking walks in the dewy grass of my beloved park across the street, leaves rippling and glowing above them. I’m vibing with an Autumn jazz playlist and the blissful sounds of my pup, Stella, snortling as she cuddles behind my chair.

In this precious moment, suspended between seasons, my heart is full and at peace. I am so happy to be here, welcoming in Autumn, thinking of you in your corner of the world, with the glimmer of fall lighting on your beautiful face.

I have much gratitude to all of you that met my offer for the Fall Equinox Retreat with such enthusiasm and helped spread the word far and wide. The energy and response has been  incredibly inspiring and motivating! I’m humbled by your support.

For those of you who expressed a desire to attend the retreat, but were unable to, I have crafted a special offering for you this week!

I designed this guide especially for YOU, to support you in taking time for ritual to celebrate and honor the Fall Equinox with the transition of the seasons, as our ancestors have done every year before us.

You can choose to do this ritual independently, or host an Equinox circle with others. I provided tips for both!

I included many of the elements of the retreat in this offering, including some awkward (dare I say, cute) videos of me guiding your way through the ritual. (Don’t worry, at some point I'll figure out how to look at the camera instead of searching all around trying to find your face!)

Today, the Fall Equinox marks the beginning of Autumn in the northern hemisphere and the time when day and night are equal. We also bid farewell to Summer until we meet her big, playful energy again.

Ancient cultures used the sun’s location throughout the year to mark time, and cultures throughout history have cultivated rituals and celebrations in conjunction with these seasonal transitions, such as the Summer and Winter Solstices, and the Spring and Fall Equinoxes.

With this Fall Equinox Ritual, you join countless others around the world in honoring nature's rhythmic transition, between summer and fall. You connect with all those before you that have marked this day and taken stock with wonder, curiosity, connection, introspection and celebration.

In a world and a culture that hypes and demands hustle and linear growth, while attempting to override the natural ebb and flow of living, taking time out to honor the rhythms of life, nature and YOU, dear friend, is a rebellious act.

And, rebellion invites change.

The type of change I intend is for all of us to live Delightfully Free, to be our whole, healthy and authentic selves!

I invite rebellion against anything that denies us our nature and our connection to ourselves, each other, and Mother Earth.

Contrary to what the capitalistic hustle culture proclaims, life is cyclical and seasonal.

There’s great wisdom and knowledge to be found grounding into the experience of nature’s seasons and your own.

I invite you to download the workbook I crafted for you, and take time for yourself to mark this transition and engage in some reflection and self-care.

The world is a better place when we connect, reflect and set intentions with the wisdom and clarity we gain from each passing season.

May the bounty of this season’s harvest be abundant for you, dear one. May you be surrounded by those who delight in the beauty all around and in us.

With love,

Annie
